New healthy snack break
Good nutrition is key to learning well and with that in mind, our school has decided to introduce a new healthy snack break in the classroom. With teachers already seeing a positive impact on student engagment and learning, the short break each morning has quickly become a vital part of our daily routine. Parents and carers are asked to ensure their child has at least one healthy snack in their lunchbox each day. Some ideas include a piece of fruit, a vegetable, cheese, natural yoghurt or a sandwich on wholegrain bread.
